She is MY HERO!! She has taken all these new challeneges and changes on beautifully! I would be a mess it it wasn't for her incredible adaptability and grace with needles, fingers sticks and carb counting! She is just a rock star!!! She is my inspiration!!!

Within just a few weeks of being home..she heard about the ADA Tour De Cure Bike ride in a local town near us and asked if we could sign up for it....Absolutely! Shortly after posting on Facebook that She and I would be doing the ride...2 complete strangers started creating a find raising event for her....This event has grown it to an amazing community support for her! I am filled with so much Gratitude and Appreciation for the out pouring of Love and Support for her! Really just speechless!!!

We have found out the my daughter's diabetes probably started about 2-3 months before becoming critically ill, Hind sight it all clicks now and even about a week or two before that Sunday night my husband and I questionned Diabetes...but we just didnt want to go there....So I am asking you all to trust your instincts, trust your intuition...we are the only ones who know our bodies and our children's bodies the best! NEVER DOUBT YOURSELF!!! We are the only ones who can advocate for ourselves and our children!!! Please know I am not blaming us for missing anything...I am just moving forward and truly advocating to trust yourself and your intuition!! :)
